Men's skin is a bit tougher, thicker, has larger pores and is oilier than women's. Skincare is not just for women. Men need to be taking care too. Knowing how & when to cleanse your face, scheduling regular facials and SPF sun protection are very important. Scheduling a facial appointment with a skincare professional can be very beneficial. Your facialist can help answer any questions or concerns that you may have. She can explain what skin type you have; for example- dry, oily, acne prone, etc. Estheticians carry their favorite skincare professional lines. My skincare line is Epicuren. It is fabulous and I am so proud of it. I use it exclusively in each and every facial that I offer. I also have it available for retail. I also like to explain to my clients that they should consider using facial sea sponges or at least a bath wash cloth to help exfoliate the skin because our hands and fingers just are too slippery to clean out the pores well enough. If there are certain areas of the face that tend to clog up, be sure and focus on those areas- usually the nose and chin.
I get men that come in when they get a breakout and are not sure what to do about it. I have such a fabulous protocol for my clarifying facial, that they leave looking better than when they came in. My Epicuren facials work wonders. Try it! Looking & feeling great is so important .
